Ofsted Report 

At UTC Plymouth, we are proud to share that our most recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in January 2023, judged us to be a Good school in all areas. 

Key Highlights from the Report 

• Quality of Education – Good.  Inspectors recognised the strength of our curriculum and the way it prepares students for their next steps, whether that’s university, apprenticeships, or employment. 

• Behaviour and Attitudes – Good.  Students were praised for their positive attitudes to learning and the respectful culture within the school. 

• Personal Development – Good.  The report highlighted how well we support students to grow into confident, capable young adults with the skills and mindset to succeed. 

• Leadership and Management – Good.  Leaders were commended for their clear vision and commitment to high standards, ensuring UTC Plymouth continues to improve and thrive. 

• Sixth Form Provision – Good.  Inspectors noted the strong support and opportunities available for our sixth form students, preparing them for ambitious futures.
