Balancing Academic Study and Specialist Training
At UTC Plymouth, our Sixth Form programme combines academic excellence with specialist opportunities. Students follow a structured timetable that ensures they can pursue their chosen subjects while also engaging work placement study and enrichment activities such as sport, leadership and employer projects.
Academic Timetable
All Sixth Form students study three subjects, with hours taught per week dependent on qualification and level. In addition, they benefit from six hours of supervised study to support independent learning and preparation for assessments.
