Enrichment Programme
At UTC Sixth Form, we believe education is about more than exams and coursework. Our extra‑curricular and rewards programme is designed to help students grow as leaders, innovators and confident individuals. Whether you’re interested in adventure, service, creativity or leadership, there’s something here to inspire you.
Combined Cadet Force (CCF)
Joining the CCF is a chance to challenge yourself, build resilience and develop teamwork skills in a unique environment. From field exercises (land and sea) and drills, to leadership training, students gain experiences that go far beyond the classroom. CCF is about discipline, responsibility, and pride.
Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE)
The DofE programme is one of the most respected youth awards in the UK, with UTC Sixth Form students having the opportunity to take part at multiple levels. From volunteering and skill development, to adventurous expeditions, DofE helps you discover new passions, give back to the community, and push yourself further than you thought possible.
Student Leadership Opportunities
Leadership at UTC Sixth Form isn’t confined to titles, it’s about stepping up, taking responsibility, and making a difference. Students can lead in many ways:

We are always open to new ideas. If you have a passion project, club or initiative you’d like to bring to UTC Sixth Form, raise it with Scott Sheldon, Head of Sixth Form, or your student ambassadors, we’ll explore how to make it happen. Your ideas can shape the enrichment programme for future students.
